The lens hood can only be recommended. I use it on a Voigtländer 25mm F4.0, where it is screwed into the filter thread. The filter thread of the lens has a depth of 3.0 mm; the filter thread of the lens hood is 2.5 - 2.6 mm deep and therefore does not exert any pressure on the lens assembly. Cool!
